First, I've already installed many configurations running dual boot xp /seven/ win/ and linux most of the time 17 and previous without any majors problems. Then since yesterday I'm turning crazy with a gigabyte brix bxbt19000 with a 120 go ssd Kingston and 4 Go memory Corsair. First, install windows seven everything is Ok! Second, boot from usb key running Mint 17.1 32 bit the desktop appear, I click on install and everything get installed as usual reboot the system as usual and then. Gigabyte appear sometime blinking 2 second and nothing more Check many things in the bios about Sata drive, fast boot and secure boot set a usual, nothing more.

Jan 22, 2018 - Gigabyte Brix Linux Drivers. Background If you have tried to install Windows 7 using a USB Flash Drive on a system that only has USB 3.0 ports.

One strange setting in thisbrix, about the os you can choose between Windows 7 and 8.x THE WORST? I connect the ssd hard disk on a classical pc tower and everything works VERY FINE!!!??

Even I re install 3 times, no change. Installing ONLY mint don't works anymore. I've already install a brix 6 month ago, antoher model without any problem. If somebody have any idea. Thanks in advance dominique. Dear friend: I'm getting lot of issues with the Gigabyte Brix GB-BXBT-1900.

I have discovered that every BIOS update generates new issues. I have 2 Brix-1900, that comes with BIOS F3. This BIOS is very erratic, generates random hangs, bad boots-up, etc.

And if you want to close the OS or reinit via soft it hangs. Go to the Brix BIOS and check what version do yo have installed. Don't upgrade immediately. Make before a backup copy of your BIOS. I have updated to BIOS F6. Power issues gone.

But appears two new bugs: 1.- Linux don't recognize HDMI audio. 2.- Linux don't recognize virtualization hardware in VMware.

This thing WORKED before upgrade to BIOS F6 (?????). 3.- Wifi issues. At last, I have disconnected the wifi card. It's useless, hangs every time. I have tested this distros: Xubuntu 12.04 ---- Doesn't work GPU. Xubuntu 14.04.3 --- Lot of issues.

In this context, the Council for asylum and immigration proceedings referred questions regarding the interpretation of Article 25(1)(a) of the Visa Code, in the light of the ECHR and Article 33 of the Geneva Convention, to the ECJ for a preliminary ruling (paras 23-28). V words to describe someone. In its judgment, the Grand Chamber recalled that the objective of the Visa Code is to regulate short term visits or transits through member states (para 41). Decision and reasoning The request for a preliminary ruling was granted on 15 December 2016, and the case was subsequently assigned to the Grand Chamber (para 34).

Ubuntu 15.04 ---- More or less, usable. Better bios F3 than F6. Linux Mint 17.2 Rafaela ----- All OK but no HDMI audio output (no hardware in audio panel to select, only analog output) and no Intel Virtualization (it's activated at BIOS, of course). I will test with BIOS F3, let's see what happens. Fedora 22 with updates at ----- All OK but no HDMI audio. I don't tested Virtualization. I have saved BIOS F3 for tests.

I want to download BIOS F4 and F5, but are deleted from Gigabyte web site. I have contacted with Gigabyte support, but was useless. No real solution and don't send me the link, ftp or files of older BIOS to test. I think that Gigabyte ignores Linux users. The only test that machine in windows OS.

I have to admit that I have never found so issues in one machine. First many thanks for your answer. The brix I received. Yesterday is supplied with F6 bios which is the lastest according to Gigabyte website. Unfortunately if linux mint 17.1 start perfectly on a usb key It does absolutely nothing after the restart. The previous one I'had installed is GB-XM12-3227 and run without any problems Do you think that a new flash bios can 'solve' something?
